Associate, Portfolio Development

Temasek is a global investment company seeking an Associate, Portfolio Development. The role involves conducting in-depth analysis of portfolio companies, supporting value creation initiatives, and monitoring portfolio performance. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and financial modelling skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively across functions and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• At least 1-3 years of experience in top-tier management consulting, investment banking, private equity / corporate finance / M&A, accounting or related fields
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
• Excellent communication and writing abilities
• Ability to communicate clearly and engage effectively with senior stakeholders
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter with strong ownership and ability to work independently
• Collaborative team player who can work effectively across functions and stakeholders
• Familiarity with financial data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet)
• AI fluency, including practical use of tools such as ChatGPT and Copilot to enhance research, synthesis, analysis, and productivity
