Job Description
The Director of Biostatistics at the Fox Chase Cancer Center is responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight of biostatistics. This position is responsible for driving research excellence, recruiting and mentoring faculty and staff, and ensuring that cutting-edge statistical and computational approaches are effectively and efficiently applied across the center's diverse research programs.
Requirements
- Doctorate Degree PhD or ScD in Biostatistics, Statistics or Data Science
- Demonstrated experience conducting research with a strong focus on biostatistics in cancer or related biomedical fields
- Extensive experience in leadership and management
- Proven track record of successful grant writing and funding acquisition
- Strong publication record in high-impact journals
- Demonstrated experience mentoring faculty, trainees, and staff
- Experience working in an NCI-designated cancer center or a similar research-intensive environment
