Senior Software Engineer, Cloud Capacity

Temporal is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Cloud Capacity team. The ideal candidate will have experience building and operating distributed systems in a production cloud environment, strong understanding of infrastructure systems, and hands-on experience with container orchestration technologies.

Requirements

• Experience building and operating distributed systems in a production cloud environment (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Strong understanding of infrastructure systems including compute, storage, and networking fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with container orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes)
• Ability to reason about system performance, scalability, and reliability tradeoffs
• Solid coding skills in Go, Java, or similar languages
• Effective collaborator who communicates clearly and works well across teams
• 4–7+ years of experience building production software
