Job Description
Temporal is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their Cloud Global Services team. This role is crucial for developing features that simplify code and enhance the reliability of Temporal's applications. The engineer will design, build, and maintain backend functionality for high-availability services, collaborating within a team to build new enterprise offerings, including on-premise and dedicated cloud solutions. They will also focus on documentation, operational knowledge, logging, metrics, alerts, and runbooks to ensure smooth cloud service setup.
Requirements
- Rich experience as an "Arranger" and/or "Builder/Enhancer" in large-scale distributed systems design (reliability, scalability).
- Operational experience in large-scale distributed systems environments
- Experience developing highly concurrent systems
- Demonstrated experience writing concurrent code (pref. Go, Java) in production as Advanced or Expert levels
