Applications Engineer - Industrial Pumps & Flow Control Systems

We’re hiring an Applications Engineer to develop pump system solutions for industrial and municipal customers. This role requires strong pump knowledge, sound engineering judgment, and the ability to work comfortably between sales, customers, vendors, and internal execution teams.

Requirements

• 10-15 years of Applications Engineering experience within the pump industry strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering strongly preferred
• Strong preference for candidates with pump OEM or major distributor experience
• Deep understanding of pump hydraulics, pump construction, and system applications
• Ability to interpret specifications, contracts, P&IDs, drawings, and technical submittal requirements
• Experience with CAD, SolidWorks, or similar design tools preferred
• Ability to develop technically accurate proposals and bills of material
• Strong communication skills and sound engineering judgment
• Comfortable working through both pre-award and post-award phases of a project
