Senior Vice President

Teneo is seeking a Senior Vice President to join their Strategy and Communications team in Canada. The role involves developing communications strategies and campaigns for clients, as well as business development and account management responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in public relations/corporate communications/media/investor relations or relevant experience.

Requirements

• 10+ years in public relations/corporate communications/media/investor relations or relevant experience
• Ability to provide strategic advice to senior level clients, including C-suite
• Understanding of macro-economic, political, and regulatory environments to inform strategic advice to clients
• Strong media and business network in Canada
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to develop and execute multiplatform communications strategies
• Ability to think creatively, approach communications from new angles, and manage both up and down the organization
• Exceptional written and verbal communication; experience delivering presentations in PowerPoint is required
• Education - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Agency/consulting experience preferred
• Bilingualism is not required but would be an asset
• Able to work from the office a minimum of three days per week
