Admin Nursing Director

The Administrative Director Nursing is responsible for large daily nursing operations, nursing directors as direct reports, and supports the chief nursing officer in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing services to ensure delivery of adequate and competent patient care.

Requirements

• Assists Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) with developing, maintaining, and evaluating organizational planning systems compatible with the ANA Code of Ethics, and Nursing standards to facilitate the delivery of patient care services
• Interfaces on a regular basis with medical staff to communicate, receive information and promote satisfactory patient outcomes
• Redesigns work flow and work processes to achieve customer satisfaction, quality improvement and cost reduction
• Identifies high-risk situations and utilizes root cause analyses tools to achieve the elimination or reduction of risk
• Participates in LDI
• Participates in Performance Improvement activities
