Medical Assistant (MA)

A non-exempt medical office position responsible for providing direct nursing care in a medical office setting under the direction of a physician, assisting medical providers, and maintaining a clean and safe environment in accordance with the policies and procedures of the practice.

Requirements

• Assist physician with daily operations
• Maintain efficient patient flow and assist with patient care
• Perform EKG and Phlebotomy as applicable
• Ensure medical documentation of office visits
• Ensure all contacts with patients, the public, physicians and other personnel are carried out in a friendly, courteous, helpful and considerate manner
