Job Description
Responsible for the timely and efficient performance of selected physical rehabilitation duties as directed by and under the general supervision of the PT, PTA, OT, or OTA.
Requirements
- Assists with dressing changes and with donning/doffing of orthopedic braces.
- Assists with transport of patients and schedules and prioritizes patient workload as assigned.
- Performs regular cleaning responsibilities to include hydrotherapy areas; cleans treatment areas appropriately following patient care.
- Maintains linen supplies and ensures the area and equipment are prepared for treatment.
- Completes established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period.
