Pharmacy Tech II Full Time Rotate

The individual in this position acts under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist and provides assistance in dispensing functions, including purchasing, inventory control, and technical duties to maintain pharmaceutical dispensing functions.

Requirements

• Accurately fill and label medication orders
• Accurately stock automated dispensing cabinets
• Fill/refill emergency crash carts, boxes, and kits
• Re-package and label oral medications/extemporaneous preparations
• Maintain adequate medication stock levels and proper storage of medications
• Comply with state and federal regulatory requirements, Joint Commission standards and Tenet and hospital policies and procedures
