Pharmacy Tech III

Coordinates and performs technical duties to maintain pharmaceutical dispensing functions to all patients, including inpatients and outpatients. Provides assistance and coordinates other certified technicians in the dispensing functions.

Requirements

• Accurately fill and label medication orders with correct strength, dosage form, and quantity in a timely manner
• Accurately stock automated dispensing cabinets (ADCs) in a timely manner
• Fill/refill emergency crash carts, boxes, and kits timely and accurately
• Re-package and label oral medications/extemporaneous preparations and maintain appropriate records
