The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit, delivering individualized, age-specific, and direct bedside care in alignment with the nursing process and patient needs.

• Assess, plan, delegate, and exercise independent judgment in directing other healthcare staff
• Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice
• Promote safe and efficient patient throughput
• Direct patient care, participation in hourly rounding, and supervision of healthcare team members
