Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

This role provides direct clinical patient care, assessing, planning, and implementing care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and supervising staff. The role is responsible for ensuring high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

Requirements

• Provide high-quality, safe, cost-effective, total nursing care to all patients
• Assume responsibility for overall coordination and integration of patient care based on the nursing process
• Direct care according to established standards of safety, risk management, QI, and Infection Control
• Administer medications safely and in a timely manner per hospital policy
• Perform and fulfill all HICS responsibilities, assignments, tasks, and roles as directed and needed by the facility in times of emergency and/or disaster
