Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

This role provides direct clinical patient care and is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role also supervises staff and is accountable to support CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

Requirements

• Assesses, plans, and implements direct clinical care to assigned patients
• Supervises staff and ensures high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care
• Coordinates and plans patient care within the prescribed medical regime
• Administers medications safely and in a timely manner per hospital policy
• Knows the Hospital’s emergency codes, including the purpose and appropriate action for each
