Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU provides direct patient care to include assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of assigned patients. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Performs and documents comprehensive systematic patient assessments
- Exercises scientific based clinical judgment and decision-making skills related to patient assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation
- Initiates, develops and maintains a written plan of care
- Coordinates and supports the plan of care through communication with other members of the health care team
- Initiates interventions or actions based on patient condition and plan of care
