Ultrasound Tech

Under minimal supervision, performs basic diagnostic ultrasound procedures, assists in diagnosis or treatment of patients, and completes established competencies for the position.

Requirements

• Produces high quality diagnostic sonographs as prescribed by a licensed practitioner
• Assists with amnio procedure biopsies
• Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services
• Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period
• Performs basic diagnostic ultrasound procedures, as requested by a licensed physician
• Performs related duties as required
