Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Successful completion of a hospital-based anesthesia technician training program of one (1) year duration or more; or equivalent on-the-job training of at least one (1) to two (2) years under the supervision of an anesthesia care provider.
- Ability to read, write and understand basic physiology/medical terminology.
- Interpersonal and communication skills for routine contacts with patients, physicians, and other healthcare team members to discuss factual information in a courteous manner.
