Radiologic Technologist Contingent Days

Performs diagnostic radiological exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment, verifies patient identity, and reviews medical record for appropriateness of exam. Communicates data to radiologist and provides imaging education to residents and new employees.

Requirements

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography (R)
• Basic Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BLS) training
• Analytical and clinical skills
• Interpersonal and communication skills
• Technical knowledge to operate equipment
• Ability to work productively in a complex environment
• Physical stamina for frequent walking, standing, lifting, and positioning of patients
• Manual dexterity and visual acuity to operate and utilize x-ray equipment and supplies
