Job Description
Perform diagnostic radiological exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment, verifying patient identity and reviewing medical records. Explain procedures to patients and provide post-care instructions. Participate in process improvement activities and provide imaging education to residents and new employees.
Requirements
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography (R)
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BLS) training
- Analytical and clinical skills
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Technical knowledge necessary to operate equipment
- Physical stamina for frequent walking, standing, lifting and positioning of patients
- Manual dexterity and visual acuity to operate and utilize x-ray equipment
