Entry Level Material Handler - 2nd Shift

Requirements

• Operate powered forklift trucks, hoists, handcarts, and other material handling equipment to maintain workflow and the organization of material
• Use production paperwork to locate, deliver and place materials in a warehouse environment
• Maintain equipment in good operating order, follows power industrial equipment guidelines and completes start-of-shift inspection checklist
• Demonstrate proficiency to perform within at least 1 area of their function
• Perform low amount of troubleshooting and adjustment to complete assigned tasks
• Understand and participates in continuous improvement activities
• Perform housekeeping and 5S to keep the department clean, safe, and well organized
• Perform basic warehouse transactions
• Identify problems or potential safety hazards and recommends resolutions
• Maintain safe working habits
• Perform other duties as assigned
