Field Mechanic

Tennant Company is a globally recognized leader in the cleaning equipment industry, seeking a Field Mechanic to join their Service team. As a Field Service Technician, you will diagnose equipment issues, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on customer-owned Tennant products and competitor models. You will own your territory, plan your daily schedule, and ensure open communication with customers regarding service expectations, timeline estimates, billing, and future service needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in troubleshooting and repairing combustions engines, mechanical and electrical systems, and using hand and power shop tools
• Vocational schooling in automotive/diesel/electrical (preferred)
• Previous experience working on Mobile Equipment and directly with customers (preferred)
• Ability to lift 60 pounds and frequently sit, stand, twist, reach, push, and pull daily
