Mechatronics Engineer 2

Tennant Company seeks a full-time Mechatronics Engineer 2 to drive technology exploration and integration initiatives across mechanical, electrical, and control systems. The role is part of Tennant’s R&D team, responsible for developing next-generation industrial equipment, focusing on electromechanical systems and automation.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Two (2) years of related experience
• Experience collaborating with multiple engineering teams
• Hands-on experience testing, analyzing, and implementing electromechanical technologies
• Proficiency in conducting testing, validation, and troubleshooting of mechatronic subsystems
• Ability to develop system and component-level models using MATLAB, Simulink, and LabVIEW
• Strong programming skills in Python and C/C++
