Job Description
Join Tenneco as a Material Laboratory Technician and contribute to our innovative and quality-driven team. You'll conduct analytical or physical tests, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and participate in issues concerning the Materials Development Team.
Requirements
- Capable of preparing appropriate test specimens for various tests.
- Familiarity and understanding of ASTM and SAE test procedures
- Can perform mathematical calculations if formula or equation is provided, capable of identifying erratic and suspect data.
- Must have familiarity with all laboratory software
- Maintains clean and safe work area in the laboratory.
- Ability to assist with giving laboratory tours to laboratory guests.
- Capable of training coworkers, co-ops, interns, and new hires. Capable of providing support as requested by supervisor.
