Medical Assistant (Float)

Tennessee Oncology is seeking a Medical Assistant (Float) to provide direct care to patients throughout their treatment and disease process. The successful candidate will work under the direction of a medical director or NP/PA and will be responsible for a variety of clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, reviewing medication lists, and assisting with procedures. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of Medical Assistant Training Program or 6-months recent Medical Assistant experience in a healthcare setting required
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred (CMA, CCMA, NCMA, NRCMA)
• Current TO approved BLS provider card required within 3 months of hire
