Job Description
Tennessee Oncology is seeking a PET/CT Technologist to operate a hybrid PET/CT scanner and perform diagnostic CT exams and PET/CT imaging according to physician's orders and radiologist's guidelines.
Requirements
- Comprehensive knowledge of CT cross-sectional anatomy, positioning, radiographic techniques, and radiation protection concepts.
- Ability to properly administer oral and intravenous contrast material when appropriate.
- Ability to follow radiation safety techniques in usage and disposal of radioactive isotopes.
- Customer service abilities including effective listening skills.
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
