Tennessee Oncology is seeking a talented and highly-motivated pharmacist to join their rapidly growing in-practice oncology specialty pharmacy. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D degree, current and active Tennessee Pharmacy licensure, and a minimum of 2 years of retail pharmacy experience.

- Operational and clinical pharmacist responsibilities
- Comprehensive oversight of workflows and audits
- Staff supervision in access, fulfillment, and accounts receivables
- Education counseling, medication adherence, and drug information
- Collaboration with the extended healthcare team
- Maintaining proper storage and security conditions for drugs
- Verification check of accuracy, appropriateness, and quality for all dispensed products
- Demonstrating clinical acuity in patient profiles assessment
- Collaboration among multi-disciplinary team in medication therapy management
- Supervision and management of staff activities and performance
- Maintenance of REMS certifications and counselor certifications
- Compliance with state and federal requirements for inventory control and responsible dispensing of opioid and narcotic prescriptions
- Proficiency in interpretation and application of medical literature
- Preparation and oversight of third-party audits
- Staff supervision and HR functions
- Collaboration and proactively engage management in continuous quality assurance
- Assistance in pharmacist rotation and schedule development
- On-call pharmacy services outside normal business hours
