Job Description
The Registered Nurse Preceptor at Tennessee Oncology is responsible for orienting, training, and mentoring new hires, ensuring effective communication and clinical practice within the nursing staff. The role involves overseeing the clinical orientation of new hires, acting as a role model, and providing expertise in clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Willingness and desire to assist in the orientation of new hires
- One year experience in the clinical area as a Tennessee Oncology RN
- Associate Degree in Nursing; Preferred BSN
- Current Tennessee License; unrestricted
- Current CPR certification required
- Familiarity on Quality and Regulatory Matters
- Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Certification Required
