Job Description
Tenstorrent is seeking a highly skilled CPU Core Unit Lead to develop next-generation CPU RTL. The role involves defining microarchitecture specifications, designing RTL, and verifying the unit. This position is remote and caters to various experience levels, allowing candidates at different stages to take on the challenge. The focus is on AI assisted design and mentoring.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven track record of designing high-performance CPU RTL.
- Deep understanding of design verification strategy and trade-offs.
- Deep understanding of CPU microarchitecture and PPA trade-offs.
- Basic understanding of RISC-V Architecture
- Proficiency in hardware description languages (HDLs) such as Verilog or VHDL.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
