Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Controls and Mechanical Engineering teams. The role involves working on prototyping and perfecting solar construction automation equipment from scratch. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience designing electrical systems and schematics in industrial settings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience designing electrical systems and schematics in industrial settings
• Advanced proficiency in designing electrical and power distribution systems in AutoCAD or EPLAN (AutoCAD Electrical preferred)
• Ability to communicate with team members and business partners effectively
• Approach each day with a sense of urgency
• Hands-on experience working on industrial equipment
• Proficiency selecting appropriate circuit protectors, wire and cable, sensors, safety hardware, PLC hardware, remote I/O, VFD and servo systems
• In-depth knowledge of electrical design compliance for different regions including national standards (UL508A, NFPA79, NFPA 70/NEC, etc.)
• Proficiency in field network topology, both theory and practical applications
• Experience creating and maintaining project documentation, EPLAN projects, drawings, inspections, permits, etc.
