Factory Applications Engineer

Role Overview

The Teradyne Factory Applications group is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and self-driven engineer to join our Digital and Software products team. In this multifaceted technical leadership role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape new product development, serve as an expert resource for outbound customer-facing activities, and represent the voice of the user to help deliver practical, competitive application solutions.

What You Will Do

Lead product development efforts by representing the broad user base, defining use cases and requirements, and validating implementations to ensure solutions meet market needs. Develop deep expertise in Teradyne Digital, Serial, DC, and Software product areas, with a focus on the UltraFLEX family of testers and semiconductor device testing applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in a related technical field
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals
• Proficiency in general software programming
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
• Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure with a positive, enthusiastic, and collaborative attitude
