Job Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Defense and Aerospace Mechanical Engineering team, responsible for designing and documenting complex cable interconnects. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Mechanical Engineering, at least 5 years of experience with cable design and documentation, and strong communication skills.
Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering
- Min 5 years of experience with Cable design and documentation
- Capable of navigating requirements in high-signal count cables
- Familiar with basic cable and wire types, including termination techniques
- Strong communication required to navigate priorities across multiple projects
- Previous experience with 38999 style connectors highly desirable
- Proficient in SolidWorks Assemblies and Drawings
- Experience with Microsoft Visio a plus
