Job Description
Join Terex/Genie's vibrant and inclusive work culture as a Design Engineer II/Sr to develop and apply reliable engineering methods, theories, and research techniques to investigate and solve technical problems. You will perform design, analysis, and testing of electrical/mechanical components and system architecture layout, and develop innovative new designs or advance existing designs from initial concept through validation with new technologies or capabilities.
Requirements
- ABET or equivalent accredited B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or closely related field
- 4+ years relevant experience in the areas listed below or M.S. in engineering w/ 2+ years experience for Level II, 7+ years relevant experience in the areas listed below or M.S. in engineering w/ 5+ years experience for Senior Level
- Relevant experience includes: electro-mechanical system layout/controls, selecting and integrating sensors, actuators, and motion control systems, industrial/mobile machine design or related industry
