Plant Operator

Join Tessenderlo Kerley as an Operator D and work in an active, outdoor environment producing and loading liquid fertilizer. The role involves operating plant equipment, monitoring utility equipment, and following safety procedures. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, mechanical and technical aptitude, and at least one year of experience in a chemical, industrial or similar plant setting.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least one year of experience in a chemical, industrial or similar plant setting
• Mechanical and technical aptitude, with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work a 12-hour swing shift (days, nights, weekends, holidays) on a 7-on/7-off schedule
• Commitment to safety and reliability in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders and work outdoors for extended periods
• Computer and basic math skills; ability to follow standard operating procedures
