Shop Lead (Belts)

As a Shop Lead (Belts) at Tetra Pak, you will engage in welding and installation of stainless steel equipment for various customers while leading a team. You will deploy Autonomous Team activities to reduce risk, improve quality, and improve performance, and lead Safety initiatives to mitigate risks during operations.

Requirements

• 10 or more years of experience in manufacturing
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Able to fabricate, weld, and polish stainless steel
• Familiarity with FDA, USDA, and 3-A sanitary standards for equipment design and fabrication
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and fabrication schematics
• Experience with quality control procedures for food-grade stainless steel fabrication
• Ability to handle multiple tasks during a given work week and consistently deliver to a deadline
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Maintain a safe working environment around yourself and others
• Experience leading teams and/or small groups
• Able to travel up to 10% of the time
