Job Description
The Mortgage Loan Originator Team Lead is responsible for originating residential mortgage loans and supporting the loan production efforts within the branch, with a portion of the time spent outside the employer’s location. The role involves managing the team, ensuring compliance, and maintaining accurate loan documentation. This position is eligible for the Outside Sales Exemption under FLSA, requiring a significant portion of time outside the employer's office.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid NMLS license
- Previous experience in mortgage lending or financial services (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize
- Familiarity with loan origination systems and Microsoft Office tools
