Instructional Assistant Professor of Dance

Texas A&M International University is seeking an Instructional Assistant Professor of Dance to begin Fall 2026. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate dance courses, develop course materials, and contribute to curriculum development and program initiatives.

Requirements

• Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Dance with a focus on Flamenco and Folklorico
• Demonstrated success in teaching dance at the collegiate or professional level
• Professional experience as a performer, choreographer, or dance artist
• Effective teaching and strong communication skills
• Engagement with students of various backgrounds
• Ability to instruct multiple dance techniques
• Ability to acquire external funding
