Job Description
The Marine Maintenance Technician is a highly skilled, multi-systems technician responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting marine vessels and support equipment. The role involves inspection, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of onboard and support systems, including electrical, electronic, HVAC, plumbing, pumping, mechanical, hydraulic, trailer, and auxiliary equipment systems.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or any equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least one year of hands-on experience in a technical maintenance role (marine, mechanical, facilities, automotive, industrial, or related field)
- Valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) within 90 days
- US Powerboat Instructors Certification, if needed on the job training can be provided
- Experience in marine multi-systems maintenance
- Experience with marine electrical and electronic diagnostics
