Adjunct Faculty of Integrated Reading and Writing

The Department of Language, Literature, and Arts at Texas A&M University - San Antonio is seeking a part-time, adjunct faculty member to teach Integrated Reading and Writing courses. The position will begin in Fall 2026 with a proposed minimum salary of $3,000 per 3 credit hours of teaching. Teaching assignments will include corequisite courses with 4-credit hour and 6-credit hour course pairing options, as well as Composition II and Technical Writing courses in the Spring semesters.

Requirements

• Master’s degree (MA) in English or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution
• A minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in English or Reading (combined)
• A minimum of one year college or university teaching experience
• Experience teaching developmental education or summer programming
