Adjunct Instructor - Sociology

The College of Arts, Sciences, and Education occasionally has openings for part-time adjunct instructors appointed on a per semester basis. The position involves teaching Sociology courses in various modalities, including face-to-face, web-enhanced, hybrid, or online. The department is looking for instructors to teach courses such as Globalization and Social Change and/or Marriage and Family.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in the teaching discipline or related field
• Doctorate or terminal degree in the teaching discipline
• 18 graduate level credit hours in the teaching discipline
• Ability to teach courses in various modalities
• Ability to coordinate course administrative duties
