Family Nurse Practitioner - PRN

Join the College of Nursing team and provide direct care in our managed clinics as a Family Nurse Practitioner. This part-time PRN position offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients.

Requirements

• Master of Science degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education and experience
• One year directly related experience serving as a family nurse practitioner
• Active license as a Registered Nurse and as an Advance Practice Registered Nurse, Family Nurse Practitioner, in the state of Texas with prescriptive authority and national board certification as a family nurse practitioner
• At least five years of clinical nursing experience
• American Heart Association - Basic Life Support Certificate
• Experience with computer systems, including web-based applications and electronic health records
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
