Financial Analyst position at Texas A&M University Health Science Center, seeking a candidate with strong analytical and reporting expertise to provide strategic financial guidance and build collaborative relationships across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five years of progressively responsible experience in accounting, financial management, or business administration, including complex reconciliations and budgeting activities.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with spreadsheet and financial systems; ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-financial audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a complex organizational environment.
