The Texas A&M Libraries are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Library Specialist II to accurately process routine invoices, maintain comprehensive records, and communicate with stakeholders and vendors. The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple workflows with accuracy and precision, and has previous experience in business or accounting in addition to library experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Three years of related library experience
- TAMU experience as a Library Specialist I
- Experience working with CSV file, Laserfiche, SharePoint, Google Drive or similar platforms
- Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others
- General knowledge of library services and functions
- Knowledge of email, word processing, spreadsheet applications and library online research database searches and/or processing
- Good interpersonal skills
- Conflict resolution skills
- Reliable attendance
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to move medium weight boxes, books, heavy book truck or similar items
- Ability to handle material which can contain dust or microscopic mold spores
