The Texas A&M University Cyclotron Institute is seeking a Master Utilities Maintenance Technician to perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on facility equipment and systems. The selected candidate will play a key leadership role in ensuring maintenance activities are conducted safely and efficiently.
Requirements
- High School or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Seven years of related experience in maintenance of equipment such as industrial power boilers, steam and/or gas turbine driven generators, or industrial or commercial chilling equipment
- Forklift certification within 6 months of employment
- Knowledge of mechanical diagnostic tools, root cause analyses methods, and ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Ability to occasionally work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Welding Certification
- ISA Certification Certified Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
