The Program Coordinator for Forensic Simulation at Texas A&M College of Nursing plans, organizes, coordinates, and manages the day-to-day simulation course activities, including scheduling, preparation, and evaluation. The coordinator must uphold the Healthcare Simulation Standards of Best PracticeTM and Association of Standardized Patient Educators (ASPE) Standards of Best Practice when utilizing standardized patients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two years of experience with program/project management, events planning/management, simulation, healthcare, education, technology or other related areas.
- Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator or Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist certification within two years of employment.
- Valid State of Texas driver’s license or ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.
