Certified Medical Assistant

We are searching for a Certified Medical Assistant for Texas Children's Pediatrics, Capital Pediatric Group- Austin. The role involves assessing and providing direct care to patients in a fast-paced setting. The ideal candidate should work well in a team and have a certification in medical assisting. The job requires assisting in patient data collection, preparing patients for examination, and administering medication. Requirements

• Assists in the collection of patient/family data
• Collects and documents vital signs, BMI, height/weight, and reason for a visit
• Prepares patient for examination and assists provider during treatments
• Documents and administers medication and immunizations as directed
• Supports patients/families in self-management of their health
• Ability to use various medical equipment
• Fundamental knowledge of pediatric assessment and treatment
