Job Description
Texas Children’s Hospital is seeking a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist to manage and promote medication use practices for cancer patients. This role involves providing patient care, mentor to pharmacists, and assisting with direct patient care, ensuring optimal drug therapy and resolving medication issues. The specialist will contribute to educational programs and clinical guidelines.
Requirements
- Utilizes practice knowledge and skills to serve as Clinical Practitioner.
- Collaborates effectively with other members of health care disciplines.
- Maintain patient confidentiality.
- Complete mandatory health, safety, and training/in-services requirements.
- Act as a liaison between the pharmacy, nurses and physicians.
