Job Description
Texas Children’s Hospital is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to provide health maintenance for well-newborn and infant patients, episodic care for ill infants, and comprehensive care for newborns and infants with chronic conditions. This advanced practice nurse role involves collaboration with the medical staff and assumes independent and interdependent responsibilities in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of pediatric patients, utilizing established guidelines and best practices.
Requirements
- Master of Science in Nursing
- Current valid license as registered nurse in the state of Texas
- Current NNP-BC certification from the National Certification Corp (NCC) Board of Nurse Examiners
- Full authorization to practice by the Texas Board of Nursing
- Two (2) years of Neonatal Nurse Practitioner experience
