Job Description
We are searching for a Nurse Practitioner for Maternal Fetal Medicine ā someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will practice in an advanced role to provide care for obstetrics and/or gynecological patients.
Requirements
- Master's degree Science in Nursing
- RN - Lic-Registered Nurses by the Texas Board of Nursing or Nursing Licensure Compact
- NP - Nurse Practitioner by the Texas Board of Nursing
- FNP - Cert-Family Nurse Practitioner by the Texas Board of Nursing OR WHNP-BC - Cert-Womens Health Care NP by the Texas Board of Nursing
- At least 2 years of experience as an RN in Labor and Delivery and at least 2 years of Nurse Practitioner experience in OB/GYN or Maternal Fetal Medicine
- Consistently demonstrates effective communication skills and works to eliminate communication barriers
- Consistently serves as an educational resource for the patient and family, community, and other health care professionals
- Participates in departmental Quality Improvement program annually
