Texas Children’s is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their NICU team in North Austin. The role involves providing high-quality nursing care, assessing and documenting patient needs, coordinating patient care, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. The position emphasizes a family-centered approach and cost-effective care.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
- Current licensure with Board of Nursing (Texas or BLS certification)
- 1 year of professional nursing experience
- Positive interpersonal skills
- Good time and resource management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Unit-specific equipment knowledge
- Critical thinking skills
- PALS certification
- Respiratory Fit Testing
- Current NICU/ICU experience (preferred)
