Conduct or oversee geological, geochemical, geohydrological, and geophysical field studies and surveys; gather samples; and analyze and interpret information to support sustainable water resource management and regulatory efforts.
Requirements
- Licensed as a Geoscientist by the Texas Board of Professional Geoscientists (TBPG)
- Five years of full-time geoscientist experience and must be licensed as a Geoscientist by the Texas Board of Professional Geoscientists (TBPG) or obtain licensure within twelve (12) months of hire date
- Seven years of full-time geoscientist experience and must obtain Geoscientist licensure within twelve (12) months of hire date by the Texas Board of Professional Geoscientists (TBPG)
- Nine years of full-time geoscientist experience and must obtain Geoscientist licensure within twelve (12) months of hire date by the Texas Board of Professional Geoscientists (TBPG)
- Ten years of full-time geoscientist experience and must obtain Geoscientist licensure within twelve (12) months of hire date by the Texas Board of Professional Geoscientists (TBPG)
- A graduate degree in a geoscience discipline may substitute for one year of the required experience, with a maximum of two years substitution allowed
